Some information on baby birds

December 13, 2018

It's important to know when to rescue a baby bird and when to leave it alone - it's not uncommon for nestling birds to be left alone for hours at a time, and removing them with the best intentions can actually cause more harm than good. Lirralirra.com has a handy web page that can help you figure out if a bird really needs your help or not, found *here*

Wildlife Victoria have also made a helpful flow chart that can be saved on your phone and shared around :)
